Good mornig,
my favorite cars are the Ford Explorer, Cadilac Eldorado and the old and new Ford Mustang but only tuned by Shelby. That's a great car. But the 1971 Barracuda convertible is nice, too.

One of my favourite dream cars is an original AC Cobra. It must be fascinating....summer evening, a highway tunnel or buildings right and left, and then open the throttles..

Do you know that selfmade-slr?
Have you ever seen a picture of it?
The guy did his job VERY WELL.
Just the length was a bit different.
It looks almost like the original SLR.

i can't agree...this car is too (i don't know the word. "Schmal" is it in german). It is a good job, ok, but the car looks different! So it's not a perfect job!

yes, i know the Crossfire. Well, it's not bad...i think it's great that Chrysler makes such design-experiences. But i like this Retro-Style.
The guy built a Vision SLR. This car could be seen at the iaa 1999 in Frankfurt/Germany. Mercedes dicided to built a street-version - this car shown in 1999 was only a showcar!
Since 2003 the McLaren SLR has been available for about 400.000$.
So the person built a Vision SLR - not the one you can buy (if you had enough money
) He had contacts to people giving plans from the SLR to him...so he had the possibility to build his own SLR...

The Crossfire is nice!

He built the SLR, when it was available in Germany. That was earlier than in the U.S.A and Canada.

ADD: The word 'schmal' is 'narrow'
